New Features

1. Added shortcut key support:
   • Up arrow to recall the last dictation word
   • Down arrow to clear the input box
   • Tab key to play audio pronunciation
2. Added sound feedback effects for correct and wrong dictation answers.
3. Added total word count display for dictation.
4. Added a recent history module to record and display the latest 10 dictation records.

Optimizations

1. Optimized Chinese font rendering for better visual display and readability.

Bug Fixes

1. Fixed the issue where British and American pronunciation audios were swapped.
2. Fixed translation parsing errors caused by unrecognized line breaks in text content.

All other optimizations and adjustments will be saved and implemented together in the next update batch. I couldn’t restrain myself before. Whenever a new optimization idea popped into my head or I stumbled upon a bug, I’d rush to modify the code immediately. As a result, I never got the chance to actually use this self-built website to study English 😭. I’m exercising strong self-control now, trying hard to kick this nonstop coding habit!

I plan to replace the blurry video tutorial for new users with concise written guides (Ugh, there’s so much data to organize).

I’ve also noted down the fullscreen feature, which will be rolled out alongside other changes in the next update.
